Aesop's Fables--Chapter 1.The tortoise and the hare

 One day, the hare was boasting about how amazingly fast he could run. His friends just yawned. They'd heard it all before. the hare started to pick on the old tortoise. "You're so slow, I'm surprised you ever get anywhere," he teased. (pp. 5-6)

I read Aesop's Fables today. I have read some of these stories before in Japanese. The tortoise and the hare is the most favorite story in these stories. I thought that I shouldn't be careless if I am superior to the other.
